 Mint Oreo Snowballs

Ingredients:

 1 bag of mint oreos
 1 block of cream cheese
 1 bag of chocolate chips
1 bag of white chocolate chips
 Any Christmas-ish toppers you want!

Directions:

Crush the oreos! I prefer to put them in a bowl and go to town on them with a mash potato masher. My sister puts them in a zip lock bag, but I find the cream filling gets stuck on the inside of it and I lack the patience to spoon it out. Just crush them!

Mix the cream cheese into the crushed cookies. It will work best of the cream cheese is already at room temperature!

Put the bowl of “batter” into the freezer, and let it sit long enough so that the batter becomes mold-able. I find 20-30 minutes usually work.

 Melt your chocolate chips!

Shape your cookie batter into little balls, and dip them in chocolate. You can garnish any way you want!

Please note that your batter may get soft as you start pumping these little guys out. I made the ones in the picture last night and I had to stop mid-way to put them back in the freezer to firm up again.

That is it! Put them back in the freezer so that the chocolate hardens, and you are done!

I came up with this recipe, but I’m sure there are others like it. I make these bad guys every Christmas, and my family and friends adore them. It is an easy recipe for those who don’t have the time or money to go crazy with desserts, but they look and taste fabulous!

I had a home-made Christmas theme going this year, I guess. Haha!

I wish you all a wonderful and absolutely Merry Christmas!
